Aran (Worsted Weight) Yarn in Dark Green (color A), Light Green (color B) and Bright Green (color C)
Crochet D (3.25mm) hook
Polyfil Stuffing
6mm safety eyes

SHELL (make 1)
Round 1: Using color A, ch 2, sc 6 into 2nd ch from hook. (6)
Round 2: inc in each st around. (12)
Round 3: *sc, inc. Repeat from * around. (18)
Round 4: *sc twice, inc. Repeat from * around. (24)
Round 5: *sc three times, inc. Repeat from * around. (30)
Round 6: *sc four times, inc. Repeat from * around. (36)
Round 7: sc in each st around. (36)
Round 8: sc around in the middle of each sc. Shown above ^. (36)
F/o and weave in ends.
BELLY (make 1)
Round 1: Using color B, ch 2, sc 6 into 2nd ch from hook. (6)
Round 2: inc in each st around. (12)
Round 3: *sc, inc. Repeat from * around. (18)
Round 4: *sc twice, inc. Repeat from * around. (24)
Round 5: *sc three times, inc. Repeat from * around. (30)
F/o and leave long tail for sewing.
HEAD (make 1)
Round 1: Using color B, ch 2, sc 6 into 2nd ch from hook. (6)

Round 3: sc in each st around. (9)

FEET (make 4)
Round 1: Using color B, ch 2, sc 6 into 2nd ch from hook. (6)
Round 2: Sc in each st around. (6)
F/o and leave tail for sewing.
TAIL (make 1)
Round 1: Using color B, ch 2, sc 6 into 2nd ch from hook. (6)
Round 2: Sc in each st around. (6)
F/o and leave tail for sewing.
ASSEMBLY
1. Sew the belly to the inner stitches of the shell, stuffing as you go. Weave in ends.
2. attach the feet to the four opposite sides of the belly, stuffing lightly. Weave in ends.
3. Attach the head in between two of the feet. Stuff lightly and weave in ends.
4. Attach the tail parallel to the head, in between the other two feet. Do not stuff. Weave in ends.
5. Using color C, cut a long strand and weave in and out of the center of the shell, and every 6 stitches of the end of the shell. Weave in ends.
