New Trends for the Spring/Summer Season, Ranked From Most Expected to Least Expected.

As the weather is heating up, its time to ditch your teddy pullovers and star print joggers for something different... And with the season changing you already know spring and summer have some exciting new trends in store.

1. Chunky Platform Sneakers

These shoes made their debut in summer of 2018, but now that the weather is warming up again they're going to hit their peak!

Paired with shorts, pants, skirts or dresses (and i'd even say bikinis) these babies can be dressed up or dressed down to compliment whatever outfit you decide on.

2. Neon

Pink, yellow, orange and green are already fun colors for the sunnier seasons, but why not try to amp things up with an even brighter neon?

Pastels in the spring are expected and outdated, so why not break out the bright colors to show your spring spirit? Not to mention neon has the tendency to make that summer tan, POP!

3. Hair Scarfs

I LOVE this trend. It's perfect for the warm weather because it gets the hair off of your neck, but a hair scarf is more than a simple trick to beat the heat.

These scarfs can turn any boring hair day into an effortlessly flawless look. There are so many ways to wear them, and every way makes you look like a Disney princess singing with her bird friends and picking fruit from the trees.

4. Bike Shorts

Only very recently have these shorts grown in popularity. Some would say they're a fashion controversy and should be left alone, but what's fashion without a little risk?

Bike shorts can be flattering and shapely, and come in a variety of materials. You can either go the classic spandex route or find some denim bike shorts to spice up any outfit.

5. Fancy Barrettes

Don't be fooled, hair clips are no longer just for your 6 year old sister. Barrettes are coming back in hot to liven up your hair this spring.

You can find your favorite barrette or stack them to make a statement. Either way, this look is the perfect addition to any look from an elegant bridal updo to a casual side-swept braid.

6. Cow Print

Okay, hear me out... Cheetah print is cool and all, but cow print is becoming the new wave. It may be seen as too country, but this print is no longer strictly southern.

This print is black and white, which means it goes with basically everything. Animal prints are in, but branching away from typical cheetah or snake skin is the edgy and exciting way to keep everyone around you on their toes.
